David and Christine Mills were involved in Motor Sport Management and P.R. as long ago as 1961, when David first worked with Jack Brabham.
This husband-and-wife team's long association in the world of motor racing led them to form Planners International in 1973 as a vehicle for their expanding business activities.
In 1979 David and Christine started representing artists painting motoring subjects, staging high profile exhibitions in London and Monte-Carlo — events that were to continue for the next 20 years.
By 1982 they had become the pre-eminent force in publishing limited edition prints featuring motoring and motor racing art, many of these published works being much sought-after collector items today.
In 1996 they introduced the International Motoring and Motor Racing Art Competition — the first motoring art competition of its kind which helped launch many artists on a successful career.
In 2001 they had a vision to raise funds for charity by selling art and formed another company alongside Planners called Art to Give Limited convenanting all profits to the charity Hope for Tomorrow which aims to help families cope with cancer.
David sadly lost his own fight against cancer in 2002, however, Christine has continued to maintain the momentum of the business, which today manages Barcelona-based Juan Carlos Ferrigno, one of Spain's leading artists.
